Theo Walcott Reveals This World Cup Winner Will Succeed Wenger At Arsenal

England international Theo Walcott has tipped Per Mertesacker to become an unbelievable manager’ once he quit playing professional football.

The Gunner captain is yet to feature for us this season after suffering a major injury against Lens in pre-season.

The World Cup winner was rewarded with a contract extension last week which will see him stay at the Emirates until 2018.

Walcott believes the centre-back will be a success in the dug-out:

 “Per’s very serious,” said Walcott. “A leader on the pitch and a leader off the pitch. You want to listen to him.

“I think he will be an unbelievable manager.

“I genuinely think out of everyone I’ve worked with he will be the best manager.”
