Splendid News As Star Reveals He Will Sign For Arsenal Before Deadline Day

Arsenal target M’baye Niang could leave AC Milan this winter transfer window.

The winger is stalling on signing a new contract with Milan and have already rejected an offer from the San Siro club. It was suggested that the player is holding out for a substantial increase to his current deal but it appears he actually wants to leave the San Siro.

Last week we covered a report which claimed Wenger has instructed Arsenal chiefs to do everything possible to sign Niang and if that is true, the French man’s wish could be granted before the transfer window closes next week.

AC Milan manager Vincenzo Montella has revealed that Niang won’t feature in the Rossoneri’s Coppa Italia quarter-final match against Juventus because he might leave the club this month.

“Niang might leave the club,” Montella told Milan TV, as quoted by the Mirror. “He’s discussing it with the management. He won’t be called up for the game against Juve as I thought he would definitely have been distracted.”

If truly Wenger is interested in the winger, Montella’s comment will come as a big boost to the French tactician.

Niang has scored three goals and provided the same number of assists for his teammates this season but he has been on a run of poor form since October and hasn’t been able to record a goal or an assist since then.

Obviously, he won’t be an upgrade to any of the players we have in his position at the moment but his potential is so huge and can become a great player under the right tutor.

It remains to be seen if Wenger will step up his pursuit of the forward. However, if the winger is available for a bargain price, it could be worth taking the risk considering his enormous potential but should Milan hold out for a huge fee, we better turn our attention elsewhere or focus on improving those at the club already.
