According to a report from the Evening Standard states Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny should be fit to face Hull City this weekend as he has suffered no reaction to his calf injury.
The midfielder just returned from the African Cup of Nations where he represented his national side Egypt, he got the opening goal in the finals against Cameroon but unfortunately, his side lost 2-1.
Arsenal fans were concerned that Elneny might aggravate his calf problem by playing in the final but it seems he is fine but he will be assessed by Arsenal’s medical team when he returns to training on Wednesday.
Arsenal are currently light on central midfielder options as Aaron Ramsey has been ruled out due to a calf injury he sustained, Granit Xhaka is still serving his Red card suspension and Santi Cazorla is nursing a long-term Achilles problem.
