According to reports making the round, Arsenal have spoken to Monaco defender Fabinho about a possible transfer to the Emirate Stadium, according to his father.
His father, Joao, told J+1: We have been in talks with Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and approached by Barcelona.
The Gunners were linked with a move for the Brazilian, who can play at right-back and in midfield, in the summer.
The 23-year-old has scored 11 goals in 50 Ligue 1 appearances for Monaco since making his debut in 2015 and has been impressive since his arrival.
He has attracted the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, Manchester City and Barcelona but it seems Pep Guardiola may be favourite to land Fabinhi after his father admitted they have a ‘soft spot’ for Manchester City.
‘We like Manchester United and [Jose] Mourinho’s work, but we have a soft spot for Manchester City,’ he added.
