Juventus Manager Massimiliano Allegri has refused to rule out a summer move to Arsenal.
The Italian manager has been heavily linked with the Gunners job as Wenger’s future remains uncertain.
It is claimed the Italian who has won two consecutive Scudetto titles with Juve is top of Arsenal’s wish list to replace Wenger, after the club received some encouragement during talks with his representatives.
Although Juventus have quickly denied those rumours by claiming there is no chance of their manager leaving this summer, the person in question has failed to put an end to those rumours.
“I still have a contract for a year and a half, I am well, and we have to reflect on what we must do in the coming months with enthusiasm,” he said when asked about a possible move to the Emirates, as quoted by Tribal Football.
“Am I going to leave? We must go ahead, we are in development with the club and this is my third year here. I hope to continue, but it will depend on me and the leaders.
“We’ll see in June.
Wenger is yet to decide whether he will sign a contract extension at Arsenal or not and the belief is that he could step down if the season ends badly for us.
Allegri will be a perfect successor to the French man, he is a manager with a track record of winning titles which is what Arsenal needs at the moment.
