Arsenal target Alexandre Lacazette has revealed he wants to leave Lyon this summer.

The striker was the subject of interest from Arsenal in the last transfer window but his club were reluctant to let him leave. The Gunners had a £29m bid rejected for his services and we were told that he wasn’t for sale at any price, which prompted us to turn out attention to Lucas Perez.

However, the 25 year old has now hinted that this could be his last season at the French club as he eyes a move to to another top league.

“I think that the right moment has arrived to leave,” Lacazette told Canal+, as quoted by Goal.

“I think that this summer I will need a change of scenery and discover something else, still with the idea of advancing and progressing in terms of football and as a person.

“I will continue to work, in the hope that good opportunities will come this summer.”

Lacazette who saw his close friend Samuel Umtiti move to Barcelona from Lyon last summer also revealed that his dream move is to join the Spanish giants.

He added: “Barcelona to join Umtiti? It is a very big club.

“They have extraterrestrials up front. It would be a dream.

“If that happens, great, but I am not here to say that I will take a place from Luis Suarez. But I would like to play for them one day.”

Lacazette has scored 18 league goals in 17 appearances this season and is on course to cross the 20-goal mark for the fourth consecutive season. Indeed he has proving to be a good striker with huge potential and would be a decent signing for any club but whether Wenger will renew his interest in the forward is anyone’s guess.
