Juventus have placed a €20m price tag on Arsenal target Mario Lemina, according to reports.
In December, Arsenal were rumoured to be preparing a January bid for the French midfielder but that plan was abandoned after Wenger opted not to make a major signing mid-season.
However, it appears we may have the opportunity to sign the midfielder this summer. According to Tuttosport via Tribal Football, Juventus are open to selling him in the next transfer window and have placed a €20m valuation on the midfielder.
Lemina was expected to play a key role in Juventus’ first team this season following the departure of Paul Pogba to Manchester United but the French man has struggled to make use of the opportunity.
The Italian newspaper claim Juventus will circulate his name across Europe before the season ends in a bid to find buyers and are targeting the Premier League.
Arsenal scouts reportedly watched the midfielder earlier in the season and it remains to be seen if we will renew our interest in the summer. It seems unlikely though because the French man hasn’t been able to find a way into Juventus first team and wouldn’t improve our squad in any way.
His quality is not what Arsenal need at the moment. We currently lack enough match winners within our squad and top players like Ozil and Sanchez should be what we are looking for.
