Arsenal are still keeping tabs on Torino striker Andrea Belotti, according to reports.
Belotti has established himself as one of Serie A best strikers this season and is attracting interests from a number of top clubs.
Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United have all been linked with a big-money summer move for the striker but It appears Arsenal are still interested in the striker and could join the race to sign him at the end of the season.
According to the Sun, Arsenal scouts have watched Belotti in action in recent weeks.
The Gunners are on the verge of exiting the Champions League and have also lost ground in the Premier League title race. So it is very likely that Wenger would want to strengthen his squad this summer if he stays and Belotti is one player believed to be on his wish list.
In January, Torino’s sporting director Gianluca Petrachi claimed they had rejected a €65m bid from Arsenal, a claim which the Gunners quickly denied but the continuous scouting of the forward proves that there is some kind of interest from us, maybe not concrete at the moment.
The striker recently signed a new deal with Torino and now has a £84m release clause in his contract which his club is insisting must be activated if they are going to do business with any club.
Should Arsenal decide to step up its pursuit in the summer, we will have to part with a large part of our transfer budget to sign the striker.
