Real Madrid star Isco has reportedly placed Arsenal on red alert after admitting his future at the Santiago Bernabeu is uncertain due to lack of playing time.

Isco has been in and out of Madrid’s squad this season and the gifted midfielder is now frustrated with his situation. He featured regularly for Madrid before the winter transfer window but has found himself more on the bench in recent weeks and the playmaker who has made just one Champions League appearance this season has admitted he could leave for another club if he is not assured more playing time next season.

‘I’m calm. What worries me is to have minutes,’ he told beIN Sports as quoted by the Metro, when asked about his future at Real Madrid.

‘A player’s career is small.

‘I’m happy here and would stay many more years.

‘From now until the end of the season, we will make a decision. It is my future at stake.’

Isco has been linked with a move to Chelsea and Arsenal in recent weeks and both clubs have now been alerted by the player’s comments.

The level of competition at Madrid is so high and it is very unlikely that they would offer him guarantees over his playing time which will present a very good opportunity for us to sign him.

Considering the uncertainty surrounding Ozil’s future, Isco will be a perfect replacement for the German. However, it’s not going to be an easy deal as we would face competition from Chelsea and other interested clubs. It’s always difficult to sign top players but hopefully, we’ll be able to pull this one through.
