Laurent Koscielny has ruled out a move back to France, insisting he is happy and settled at the Emirates.
Arsenal’s star players have been linked with moves away to different clubs and Koscielny hasn’t been left out. There have been rumors about a potential change of club for the defender, with a return to France or a move to Bayern Munich being mooted, However, the 31-year-old has ruled out such move, insisting he is very happy to continue here.
The defender who joined us from FC Lorient in 2010 has now revealed that he has no intention of changing clubs.
“I have had no contact with a French club,” Koscielny told radio station RMC, as quoted by Team talk.
“And even if I had one, I would have cut it short very quickly.
“I do not see myself coming back to France for the moment.
“I am happy with my life on and off the field
“If my family and I are happy here, this is the most important.”
Koscielny has established himself as one of Europe’s best defenders at Arsenal and it is good news that he wants to repay us with his loyalty.
After recent poor results which have seen us fall off the pace in the title race this year again, some of Arsenal stars are reportedly looking for a way out but Koscielny obviously isn’t one of those.
Big ups to you, Kos!
