It seems Arsenal have suffered an early transfer blow as Alvaro Morata has been linked with a move to join this season’s Premier League winners Chelsea, with the player already following all of Chelsea’s stars on Instagram.

The Real Madrid Attacker has been linked with a move to top Premier League clubs with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea.

Reports also suggested he was linked with a big-money move to Chinese super League last season but it seems his heart is with Chelsea as his girlfriend Alice Campbell who is engaged to Morata has reportedly bought a house in the capital, this news has indicates he could make a move to the Premier League side this summer.

Back in February this year, Morata even admitted that he missed playing at Juventus, insisting that he was willing to stay in Turin for “many years” before Madrid swooped.

“I am not Italian, but I gave everything for the Bianconero shirt and I was willing to stay there many years,” Morata told Corriere dello Sport.

“Juventus knew that. The only problem was that Madrid had been my dream since when I was little. Without the buy-back option, you would have had to drive me to get me away from Turin!

“I miss the Italian group from the dressing room – [Leonardo] Bonucci, [Andrea] Barzagli, [Giorgio] Chiellini, [Claudio] Marchisio, [Gianluigi] Buffon, they were key in my adaptation to Juventus and Turin.

“If I had come into a bad dressing room at Juventus, I wouldn’t have done so well.”
