But one of the most surprise things was fan boycott as many of the seats were empty at the Emirates Stadium despite Wenger’s comment over the weekend.
“I think we are always sold out so I don’t know where you get that impression.”
Those were actually Wenger’s word during Monday’s press conference when he was asked to comment about the planned fan boycott for the Sunderland game.
However, even Wenger himself must have been shocked by the number of empty seats inside the Emirates Stadium this evening.
