According to a report from the Daily Mail, Arsenal have suffered a massive blow in signing Monaco hitman Kylian Mbappe.
The report states the Gunners Monaco have made their intention know on keeping the 18-year-old frontman for another season.
Mbappe has been impressive for the Monaco this season he has attracted the attention of top clubs around Europe including Arsenal for his signature.
He has scored his 24th goal of the season on Wednesday for the Ligue 1 giants as he guided them in winning the League title.
Now Monaco have told all interested parties that, providing Mbappe doesn’t push for a move away, he will be staying for another season.
“It is our intention that he stays,” said vice president Vadim Vasilyev.
“We will do everything we can to keep him.
“It depends on the club but also the will of the player and I hope he will make the right choice to stay with us.”
Arsenal will have to pay a huge fee considering his impressive performance this season as he helped Monaco to claim their first League title in 17 years.
