According to a report from the Telegraph reveals Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted he won’t spend big in this summer transfer window instead he revealed that he would only make one or two signing when the transfer window opens in July.

The Gunners have failed to qualify for the Champions League next season for the first time in 21 years since Wenger took charge in the 1995/1996 season.

After Arsenal 3-1 victory over Everton on Sunday, Wenger revealed that he won’t break the bank in signing players when the transfer window opens in July

“First I think we have to keep 90 percent of these players together and find one or two more who strengthen the group,” Wenger said.

“But we don’t need a lot. We don’t need many. But we need maybe top quality.

“I think this group of players is good enough to come back.

“They have learned a lot and they have gone through difficult periods this season and they have bounced back in a very strong way.

“I think that will help them, absolutely, next season.”

Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez are yet to commit their future at Arsenal and they have been stalling on a new deal and fans are worried they could lose the duo due to lack of Champions League action.
