Reports suggest Arsenal are interested in signing RB Leipzig star Emil Forsberg this summer after his agent revealed he is ready to leave his present club this summer.
Forsberg led the Bundesliga with 19 assists this season and also contributed 8 goals to help Leipzig to a stunning second-place finish and a Champions League spot.
The 25-year-old Swede international has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal with reports suggesting the Gunners had launched a £30 million ($38.56m) bid for his signature.
Now the Gunners have been encouraged to sweep in for his signature after his agent Hasan Cetinkaya, told Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet that there is concrete interest in Forsberg, but would not disclose from where.
“I will never comment on which clubs are involved. But there are big clubs who are very interested in Emil,” Cetinkaya was quoted as saying. “Obviously RB know that if they want to keep Emil they have to make sure he’s always happy. He has repaid the club 10 times over. It might be time to test himself at one of the big clubs.”
Arsenal will have to act fast in signing Forsberg as he has been linked with Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Arsenal and AC Milan, among others.
