It was widely reported yesterday that Arsenal had a £87million bid for Monaco star Kylian Mbappe, according to French publication L’Equipe.
Now the Daily Telegraph is reporting bid for Monaco sensation Mbappe has been rejected by the French champions with Monaco given no indication whatsoever that they may be willing to negotiate if a bigger bid is made and are not inviting one.
The 18-year-old has been strongly linked with a move away from AS Monaco after a magnificent breakthrough season which saw him become the youngest player to score at least five goals in the Champions League.
It was revealed recently that Arsene Wenger came close to landing the 18-year-old last summer, and even visited the youngster at his home in France, before he embarked on a breakthrough campaign that has attracted European top clubs for his signature.
Manchester United, Chelsea Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain are believed to be monitoring Mbappe’s situation at Monaco.
