According to reports from the Sun, Arsenal are reportedly struggling to offload Kieran Gibbs in this summer’s transfer window due to setting an asking price of £15million for his signature.
Arsenal could be forced to lower their £15m asking price for the left-back who has been seen surplus since the introduction of Sead Kolasnic from Schalke 04 who signed for the Gunners on a free transfer.
Gibbs has attracted a host of interest in the Premier League with West Brom, Newcastle, Stoke and Brighton all believed to be keen for his signature.
Since Gibbs only has a year to go on his contract with the Gunners, they may be forced to lower their demands if they are to avoid losing him on a free in a year’s time, according to the London Evening Standard.
The 27-year-old currently earns around £60,000-a-week at Arsenal which could prove another stumbling block.
