According to reports, Arsenal have launched a bid to sign Sunderland’s Whizkid Joel Asoro and Benjamin Mubunga-Kimpioka this summer transfer window.
The Sunderland Echo reports the Gunners are ready to offer £5million for the pair, with Sunderland looking set to sell.
Asoro was asked about his future while on international duty this week.
He said: “It’s not something you can decide now. We will have to see who the new manager is and whether or not they like me. If not, I will have to look for something. I have to develop and can’t just play U23 football all the time.”
The 18-year-old striker joined Sunderland from Swedish side Brommapojkarna in 2015 and made his senior debut last season – becoming the club’s youngest ever Premier League player.
Midfielder Mbunga-Kimpioka, 17, arrived from Swedish side Sirius last summer but is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Black Cats.
