According to Italian news outlet Tuttomercatoweb, Arsenal are among a number of clubs interested in Werder Bremen forward Max Kruse.
It’s understood the Gunners have abounded their plans to sign Atletico Madrid superstar Antoine Griezmann and are pursuing other attacking targets ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.
Goal suggest Germany international Kruse is firmly on Arsene Wenger’s radar this summer off the back of the 29-year-old’s barnstorming end to the Bundesliga season.
Kruse managed 15 goals in 23 games for Bremen and his goalscoring exploits appear to have put the Premier League giants on red alert. His release clause of €12m (£10.5m) has unsurprisingly attracted a lot of interest from sides outside of Germany’s top tier.
West Ham and Everton are the other Premier League clubs reportedly interested in the possibility of signing him, while Serie A side AS Roma and Turkish champions Besiktas have also been quoted as potential suitors.
