According to reports, Arsenal could lose Lucas Perez this summer as he is expected to leave the Emirates after failing to break into Arsenal Wenger’s starting XI.
The Spaniard agent has confirmed Sevillia are interested in signing the £17million rated Striker who joined Arsenal late last summer
Unsurprisingly, his agent, Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle, has informed Arsenal that his client wants to leave the club this summer where he can get first team action.
“The idea is to be able to play for another club. We want to leave and Arsenal already know,” he said. “Do you know anyone who is happy but has no opportunities?”
According to Diario de Sevilla, Sevilla have identified Lucas as one of their top targets this summer with Arsenal believed to want £12m for him.
They’ve had an interest in him since he was at Deportivo La Caruna, but were unable to compete with Arsenal’s wealth.
“The key date is 3rd July when Arsenal’s preseason begins,” Lovelle told Radio Gallega.
“Anything is possible -the president of Depor can do wonders while last year I met with Sevilla, who again are interested.”
The 28-year-old made just two starts in the Premier League this season, as injuries and competition for places made it a season to forget for Perez.
