Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has identified he needs a new strike ahead of next season after signing a new 2 year deals at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners have been heavily linked with a move for Alexander Lacazette in previous transfer window and it’s no surprise he has been linked with a move to the Emirates again this summer.
According to reports in France, L’Equipe Arsenal are already in advanced negotiation for the French striker as Lyon have already agreed a deal with Chelsea striker Traore as his replacement.
Our previous report revealed that Lyon chairman Jean-Michel Aulas had confirmed that Arsenal had made an improved offer for striker Lacazette.
Aulas was quoted as saying: “Lacazette was told he could leave. We had negotiations with Atletico. Things did not work out. We now have a very nice offer from Arsenal. But for us he will not leave.”
However, Arsenal still lead the chase for the Lyon striker ahead of Manchester United, with the French club demanding close to £50million.
