Arsenal have been handed a massive blow in signing Nigeria ace Henry Onyekuru.
The 20-year-old snubbed Arsenal to sign for Everton after agreeing to £6.8million move from KAS Eupen.
Onyekuru was the joint top scorer in the Belgian League last season scoring 24 goals in all competition.
His impressive performance saw him linked with a move to Arsenal with reports already suggest he will sign for the North London club.
The exciting forward revealed back in December that he dreamed of playing in England and north London was his ideal destination.
Onyekuru said: “I believe I have the level to one day play in the Champions League.
“The Premier League is my dream league, although I would rather go to Arsenal.
“Football was my relaxation after school. With my friends, we watched the Premier League every weekend.
“I’m a huge Arsenal fan, Thierry Henry is my idol. Now I’m a professional footballer, I try to copy him as much as possible.
“I look back to the games I saw as a boy, but I also regularly watch videos on YouTube to see how he did certain things.”
Onyekuru moved to Eupen in July 2015 and made a promising start with six league goals in 19 appearances in Belgium’s second tier that helped get the club promoted.
