ARSENAL keeper David Ospina has reportedly been in contact with Claudio Ranieri’s Nantes over a possible transfer away after falling down the pecking order at Arsenal.
Ospina, 28, apparently wants to leave the Emirates after growing frustrated at playing second-fiddle to Petr Cech.
He made the majority of his appearances in the Champions League, but just two came in the Premier League last season.
Previous reports suggested he was close to signing for Turkish side Fenerbahce with report suggesting a four-year contract was said to be on the table with talks in an advanced stage.
But a move broke down after the Turkish giants refused to meet Arsenal’s £3.5million valuation.
Ranieri, who was controversially sacked by Leicester last season, is now in charge of the French side Nantes.
