According to reports making the round, Arsenal are ‘close to signing’ Feyenoord wonder kid Joshua Zirkzee as they look to stave off Ajax for 16-year-old.
Reports in Holland say Arsenal have taken a leap in front of Ajax in the race to sign Feyenoord’s rising star
16-year-old Zirkzee is described as a “goal machine” by Voetbalzone, who report that the Gunners appear to have won the race for the sought-after teenager after Ajax failed to secure the kid’s signature.
Zirkzee joined Feyenoord from ADO Den Haag in 2016, and the under-16 Dutch international striker has since scored 33 goals in 27 games for various teams in Feyenoord’s Academy.
Both Dutch giants Ajax and PSV are reportedly in the hunt for him, but Arsenal look to have leaped to the front of the queue.
