The report from Don Balon suggest that Arsenal are interested in signing the left-winger who enjoyed a breakthrough season with Los Blancos last term.
Zinedine Zidane here could be key, however. The 21-year-old Asensio previously spoke about how he idolised the Frenchman when he was growing up and the youngster doesn’t seem to be in any rush to leave him.
Marco Asensio is certainly one of the brightest young talents in the world and it’s hard to see Real Madrid letting him go easily. He made 38 appearances in all competitions for them last term, scoring 10 goals and registering four assists.
