Manchester City youngster Jadon Sancho has returned to London in a bid to force a move to Arsenal.
The 17-year-old has been a subject of interest from the Gunners and Tottenham Hotspur this summer, following his impressive outing with City’s academy.
Sancho was not part of Manchester City squad that travelled to the United States of America for preseason tour, sparking reports that the player feels he cannot get the required first team opportunities at Etihad.
The youngster is in the last year of his scholarship contract at City after joining them from Watford but wants to move in order to get the first team opportunities elsewhere.
Reports in the Independent claim that Sancho has not returned to Manchester for training and is keen on forcing through a move this summer by remaining in London.
Spurs are understood to have held talks with City over a potential move for the youngster during negotiations during the deal that saw Kyle Walker move to Manchester City earlier this summer.
Arsenal are also offering Sancho a £30,000-per-week wage to move to the Emirates with suggestions that the youngster will prefer a move to the Emirates where his close pal Reiss Nelson is already buzzing with an impressive outing in preseason.
