Arsenal have officially announced they have struck a two year deal with Cavallaro Napoli as they Dutch Italian brand will be their official formal wear partner.

The deal was announced on Arsenal official website as the Italian fashion house will dress the Arsenal staff for match days and other official functions.

The players donned the new suits before they took on Chelsea last Sunday in the Community Shield. The suit jacket will feature the club’s historical crest embroidered in Arsenal red.

“Players and officials wore the suits for the first time at the FA Community Shield match versus Chelsea on Sunday.”

Cavallaro Napoli will also provide special limited edition items for supporters throughout the season.

The partnership is a mutually beneficial one, as Arsenal get to look good in exchange for helping Cavallaro Napoli expand their appeal and customer base using the football club’s global reach.

Speaking about the deal, Arsenal’s chief commercial officer Vinai Venkatesham said: “We are delighted to welcome Cavallaro Napoli to the club as our Official Formal Wear Partner.

“As a brand, it has enjoyed huge growth since its inception in 2004 and is well known for its true craftsmanship, using the finest fabrics for its suits to ensure uncompromising quality.  

“We will now help introduce its tailoring to a new audience through our global channels. We’re looking forward to working together, with players and staff sporting a stylish and unified appearance as we head into a new season.”
