David Seaman has urged Arsenal to sign one or two new players before the transfer window shuts.
The Gunners legend admits he has no idea which individual players that his old boss Arsene Wenger is targeting.
But he’s thrown his weight behind a possible bid for Monaco star Thomas Lemar, labelling the possibility of signing him as “great”.
Speaking exclusively to Express Sport, Seaman said: “I’ve no idea who is coming in. There’s so much speculation it’s so hard to keep up with it.
“But if they can add players like [Thomas Lemar], great.
“Hopefully they will do more business. Hopefully they can get one or two because it’ll be a boost for the squad as well.
“In Alexandre Lacazette they’ve got a guy who looks like a great signing. He’s a box player and his goalscoring record speaks for itself.
“He’s a guy who takes half chances when he’s in the right place at the right time – and hopefully he can carry that on.

He added: “Players playing with a lot of confidence can achieve great things.
“If they get a good run going, Arsenal’s hurdle is getting knocked out the Champions League and that’s when we usually have a slump in form.
“Obviously we haven’t got that now, we’ve got the Europa League to deal with, which is a different hurdle in itself, but it’s still a European competition.
“Give respect to it but make sure we don’t have that slump like we normally do towards the end of the season.”
