Arsenal have received a triple injury boost ahead of Saturday’s trip to Stoke City.
The Gunners were missing several players when they kicked off their new Premier League season last Friday with a 4-3 win against Leicester City.
But they will welcome back three of their stars for this weekend’s clash at the Bet365 Stadium.
Per Mertesacker is fit to feature following the head injury he suffered against Chelsea in the Community Shield, while Francis Coquelin and Shkodran Mustafi are both available for the first time this season.
“Mertesacker will be available again,” said Arsene Wenger. “Mustafi and Coquelin will be in the squad.”
One player who appears unlikely to feature, however, is Alexis Sanchez as he continues to battle back from his abdominal injury.
The Chile international has returned to training but is not expected to travel with the squad to the Potteries.
“For Sanchez it looks a bit early again,” said Wenger. “He works hard in training. I think Saturday comes too soon but he should be available for Liverpool.
“His recovery is going very well and he is working very hard.
“But we have to be cautious. It’s a muscle strain and we don’t want to have any set back on that.”
