The summer clear out continues for the Arsenal, as it is now reported that another player is set for an exit. Barely 24 hours after the club announced the loan transfer of Carl Jenkinson and Cohen Bramall to Birmingham City, have reports filtered out that Jon Toral could be next in line.

ESPN reports that Hull City have stolen a march on the likes of Derby County to secure the signature of Toral. This adds up to the fifth club he has been loaned to, after spending time at English sides Brendtford and Birmingham City, and also at Granada and Rangers in the 2016/2017 season.

The stint at Scottish side Rangers was not helpful to his career, as he made just 9 appearances for them. He is yet to convince Arsene Wenger that he deserves a spot in the first team despite arriving same time as Hector Bellerin when the duo were signed from Barcelona.

The latter has gone on to establish himself as a full-fledged first teamer, ousting the likes of Mathieu Debuchy and Carl Jenkinson to emerge as the first option in the club’s right back position whilst his Spanish friend is yet to gain first team experience under his belt.

Toral’s move to Hull City could pass as good news since he knows his way in the England second tier league, having won the Player of the Year and the Goal of the Season awards at Birmingham.

Skysport had reported that he was undergoing medical at Hull, which would have been done by now. We patiently await the confirmation of the deal.

Here’s wishing the lad an eventful stay at his new club
