Arsenal fans are excited as Santi Cazorla have given an update on his bid to return from a long-standing Achilles injury.

The powerful midfielder posted a video of a rehab workout on his personal social media and has not featured for the Gunner since October in out Champions League clash against Ludogorets last year.

However, the 32-year-old injury prone midfielder denied he was ready to end his career claiming he is on track to make a return to the pitch.

He told Spanish radio station Onda Cero: ‘I do not know how far I am [from returning] but I am convinced that I am going to play football again and at my best level. I am working on it and hopefully, it can be as soon as possible.

‘I am convinced that I will come back. Those who want to retire me will get to see me [play] again. I will return.’
