Arsene Wenger surprisingly kept to his promise by keeping Alexis Sanchez at the Emirate Stadium despite transfers rumours linking him with a move away from the Arsenal.
Manchester City, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain were keen on a deal but it seems Wenger has kept to his word the Chile international will remain.
However, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain completed a move to Anfield which was one of the biggest domestic transfers of deadline day.
“The decision to leave was tough after being a part of the club for so many years, but I feel that this move is right for the next stage in my ongoing development,” he said.
Oxlade-Chamberlain joins Kieran Gibbs in leaving the Emirates Stadium in the past 48 hours after the full-back moved to West Brom on Wednesday.
