A double strike from France international striker Alexandre Lacazette earned Arsene Wenger’s side a 2-0 victory over Premier League side West Bromwich Albion at the Emirates Stadium.

But the fixture schedule has left the Emirate club with a very limited time to recover properly, prepare well and travel to Eastern Europe for the Group H game against BATE Borisov.

Arsene Wenger said of his next team list selection after the win over West Brom that he is left with a difficult decision to make ahead of the match because the timing for his team is a bit cruel.

The North Londoners, who finished fifth last season, opened their Europa League campaign with a 3-1 win over Bundesliga side FC Cologne at the Emirates Stadium and are seventh placed on the Premier League table, with three wins, a draw and two defeats from six matches played in 2017-18.
