Former Manchester United and Liverpool striker Michael Owen has given his own take on Arsenal Sunday’s Premier League fixture against newly promoted side Brighton at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsene Wenger’s side have beaten Bournemouth and West Brom in two of their last three Premier League games to hoist themselves up to seventh place in the table.
Brighton, meanwhile, were 1-0 winners against Newcastle United last weekend to get their second win of the season and move Chris Hughton’s men further clear of the relegation zone.
Owen doesn’t expect Brighton to cause an upset against the north London side when Arsenal welcome the promoted side to The Emirates on Sunday.
“Brighton were fortunate to beat Newcastle at the weekend and I expect Chris Hughton’s side to be outclassed at The Emirates,” Owen told BetVictor.
“The Gunners have a terrific record in home fixtures against lesser sides in the top-flight, beating West Brom 2-0 in North London on Monday, and should likewise complete another comfortable home win at the weekend.”
