According to stories, Jack Wilshere reportedly turned down a new deal at Arsenal during the summer, and he is ready to leave the Emirates at the end of the current season.
The Sun suggests Arsenal were willing to offer the 25-year-old a new deal in the summer, but it was rejected by the midfielder who is still disappointed being sent out on loan at Bournemouth last campaign.
A source close to Wilshere told to the outlet that: “Arsenal didn’t want to loan him out again unless he signed a new contract but he didn’t want to sign one.
“If Jack gets back into the Arsenal team on a regular basis and feels he is seriously part of the club’s plans, there is still a chance he might stay.
“However, as things stand, he is still of the view that he will be leaving at the end of the season.”
On Jack returning from damage, he has only finalized 90 minutes this campaign which came in the Carabao Cup clash last week against Doncaster Rovers, and he was played impressively.
The Englishman has been a fixture in the North Londoners first-team for some seasons now; however, damage have hindered his opportunities of starting on a regular basis.
