Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has insisted he still doesn’t know who his successor will be.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll have heard all about the rumour that Carlo Ancelotti is set to be the next Arsenal manager. However, Wenger claims that he doesn’t know who will be taking over from him and said that it’s not his job to decide.

“I don’t know who will replace me at Arsenal,” the Frenchman told beIN Sports (via Metro).

“When you are a manager of a club, you have to work like you’re there forever because it demands total commitment.

“And I believe as well that a football club works by everybody doing his own job well.

“My job is to prepare the team for the next game and be responsible for the technical policy of Arsenal Football Club.

“The job of my board is to choose the next manager – I don’t want to do the job of my board.”

Wenger has under two years left on his Arsenal contract after signing a new deal at the end of last season.
