Sanchez is showing no signs of penning a new deal with the Gunners and will leave the Emirates Stadium either in the January transfer window or at the end of the season.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is now keeping an eye on potential replacements and has switched his attentions from Monaco’s Thomas Lemar, to fellow Frenchman Martial at Old Trafford.
Martial is a key player for the Reds and it is highly unlikely that Jose Mourinho would entertain the idea of cashing on the player, but reports claim that Wenger believes he could be lured away.
Wenger would offer Martial the chance to play through the middle as well as out wide, and thinks that could be enough to tempt him away from the Reds, who employ him solely down the flanks.
Sanchez and Mesut Ozil have also been linked with moves to United, and it has been suggested one, or both players, could be used as bargaining chips to get Martial at the Emirates for next season.
