Jack Wilshere is reportedly going to walk away from Arsenal when the January transfer window reopens.

The England international was heavily linked with a move away from the Emirates in the summer after his one-year loan spell at Bournemouth was finished.

The 25-year-old midfielder has struggled with injury problems over the past few seasons and was forced to miss the pre-season as he recovered from a broken leg.

Academy graduated player, who has been part of the Arsenal fold since 2001, has played in three games for Arsene Wenger so far this season, none of which has been in the Premier League.

According to The Times, the English midfielder is now seriously considering leaving his childhood club in three months’ time to boost his chances of earning a place in England’s squad for the World Cup in Russia next year.

The report suggests that 22 clubs expressed an interest in Wilshere during the summer, and if he makes it clear that he intends to make a change, those outfits could return.

The 34-capped England international has not represented his country in over a year.

Arsenal academy graduated Jack Wilshere has played in 161 games so far and scored 12 goals for the club. The 25-year-old midfielder won the two FA Cups with The Gunners.
