Arsenal are reportedly considering a move for PSV winger Hirving Lozano and have already sent chief scout Steve Rowley to Holland to watch the attacker. Lozano has scored 43 goals in 149 games for Mexican club Pachuca signing for PSV in summer

After signing a six-year deal with the Dutch club, the 22-year-old winger has made a great impact this season, as he scored six goals in six matches and became the first player to score in his first three games for PSV.

The Mexico international was named the Eredivisie Player of the Month in August, and of course, his performances could not get unnoticed, with Arsenal showing interest in signing him in winter.

According to The Daily Mail, Arsenal scout Rowley has been keeping tabs on Lozano this term ahead of a potential January move and it is believed that an offer of around £20million would convince PSV to sell attacker.

Speaking about his future when he was playing at Pachuca earlier in the year, the Mexican winger admitted that he would love to play in the Premier League and Manchester United are his favourite club.

He said in the interview with Univision, ‘I believe that many leagues are beautiful. I like the English and the Spanish very much.”

‘But let’s see how things are and decide. The one I would like most is Manchester. I like this club a lot and it’s a very important club.’

A pacey winger, Lozano, who has already played in 22 matches for Mexico, could be considered as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez.

The Chilean superstar was close to signing for Manchester City in the summer and will be the subject of more speculation in the build-up to the January transfer window.
