Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reportedly began to prepare for life after Alexis Sanchez. The wantaway Chilean star has allegedly rejected all contract extension offers that the club have offered him, and despite enjoying some rejuvenation in form in recent times, he appears to have his sights on moving out of the Emirates.

Now, Arsenal have reportedly spotted a potential replacement in Mexico and PSV Eindhoven star Hirving ‘Chucky’ Lozano, who is also wanted by Manchester United. Since joining PSV, he has impressed both on and off the pitch and even recently became the first Eredivisie player to score seven goals in their first 8 games in the league. In just eleven games, he has scored ten times and made five assists. He is currently tied to the club on a six-year contract, with a release clause of around 34 million Euros.

The 34 million euro release clause is no trouble for both Arsenal and United, and if any decided to meet the clause, the player may well be plying his trade in England next season. While United appear to stall in negotiations, Wenger and Arsenal have taken the lead in the race for his signature. Wenger has reportedly established contact with his
representatives for a potential move for him this January, so as to tone down the effects of the impending loss of Alexis Sanchez, who has so far refused to commit to the club.
