In yet another stern test and the battle for London supremacy, Arsenal will host Tottenham in the Premier League this Sunday but be following the rise of the Lilywhites, and the poor form of Arsenal, Mauricio Pochettino’s side have been dubbed favourites for the three points.

However, Arsenal great Ian Wright has delivered his piece of advice the Gunners on how to come out victories in the encounter, per reports.

After 11 games, Arsenal are in sixth position and four points behind Tottenham Hotspur in the second position. The Lilywhites have conceded only seven goals while Arsenal have conceded a whopping 16 and by all standards, Tottenham are currently the better team.

For the first time since 1995, Tottenham finished above Arsenal on the Premier league log and they are not looking like they will take their foot off their pedal. They convincingly thumped Real Madrid 3-1 in the Champions league and are currently on top of their group after qualification.

While reckoning that you’re as good as your last game, Wright has asked the Gunners to forget about their current form and be very confident.

“It’s always going to be very hard for me to utter those words (that Spurs are better than Arsenal),” Wright told Sky Sports.

“At the same time you can’t deny the fact that they are going places. There’s (been) a lot of progress at Spurs.

“I was just asked about the London derby and they’ve just beaten Real Madrid and beaten them convincingly and they were very impressive.

“The derby is something that our players should be going into thinking ‘I don’t care, I don’t care if they’ve got capes on with S on them’.

“They should be looking to beat them.”

Any result other than a win for Arsenal will even reduce their chances of ending in top four. Arsenal must be switched on all through the game but it certainly would be a difficult game for both sides.
