Ozil is currently one of the targets for José Mourinho as soon as the January transfer window opens. After the unfortunate injury picked up by Paul Pogba, Manchester United have been in need of a creative player who can make decisive passes, as well as a player who can create multiple scoring chances.

Mourinho is convinced that Ozil is the right man for the job and has shown interest in the player. Club football will be resuming across the world on Saturday after the last international break for the year.

Arsenal will battle Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday at the Emirates stadium. When asked by sky sport reporters, Arsenal legend, Charlie Nicholas, advised Arsene Wenger to put the duo of Ozil and Sanchez on the bench until their contract issues are sorted out.

‘If Arsenal are serious about winning these big games, I would go with Alexandre Lacazette and Danny Welbeck and leave Ozil out and Sanchez out’; he said. Arsenal must defeat Tottenham if they want to preserve their little chance of
winning the Premier League.
