Reports making the round claims Arsenal have agreed terms to see Alexis Sanchez make the switch to Manchester United in coming days.
The Chilean is out of contract at the end of the season and was expected to join runaway Premier League leaders Manchester City this month after narrowly missing out on a move last summer.
United have reportedly offered £25m, as well as Armenian winger Henrikh Mkhitaryan in exchange, with Sanchez offered a huge wage of £350,000-a-week.
And according to Sky Italy, the former Barcelona star is happy with the situation and is all set to complete the switch to Old Trafford.
The deal is now dependent on Mkhitaryan agreeing with the move to Arsenal.
Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol tweeted: “Sky Italy, who first reported Man United were in for Sanchez, say he’s agreed terms with United. Just waiting for Mkhitaryan to agree terms with Arsenal.”
It’s likely the 28-year-old will agree to the move having fallen out of favour under Mourinho.
The Portuguese admitted last night that Arsenal is the only club he would allow Mkhitaryan to move to as he wants to see him given regular game time.
