Reports from the Daily Star claims Arsenal would have to wait a little bit to announce Aubmeyang deal as he is likely to testifies in a bomb trial in Germany.
Aubameyang is scheduled to speak as a witness in the trial against the man accused of attacking the Borussia Dortmund team bus last year.
The bomb attack injured Dortmund player Marc Bartra but no one else was physically hurt.
Aubameyang and Bartra are set to appear in the trial against defendant Sergej W on Monday, January 29.
And that may frustrate Arsenal’s plans to sign the Gabon striker.
That is according to German newspaper Bild, who claim the judge in the trial is worried both Aubameyang and Bartra could be difficult to reach if they move clubs before next Monday.
“The jury court plans to hear one professional injured in the attack on the BVB bus, and another BVB professional on Monday, 29,” the court announced in a press release.
Bartra is set to speak at 10am CET on Monday, with Aubameyang to follow 45 minutes later.
Arsenal are hoping to agree a £55million deal for Aubameyang before transfer deadline day on Wednesday, January 31.
