Arsenal have reportedly accepted a bid worth £15m and add-ons from Chelsea for Olivier Giroud.
According to a report from reliable Italian news outlet Di Marzio, an agreement between Chelsea and Arsenal has been reached regarding the transfer of Giroud, with only two days of the transfer window remaining.
Chelsea have been keen to acquire a new striker throughout the course of the month and have identified several physical forwards as potential targets. However, it seems they have arrived at Giroud as their primary target and negotiations have seemingly progressed well.
Arsenal are closing in on the signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund, with a £53.5m transfer fee having been agreed. This will only push Giroud further down the pecking order at the Emirates, with Alexandre Lacazette also in contention under Arsene Wenger.
Giroud will undoubtedly be keen to impress if he secures his move to Stamford Bridge, with the 2018 World Cup only months away.
