Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has completed his long awaited move to Arsenal, according to latest reports.

Arsenal and Dortmund reached a £56million agreement for the player’s transfer after over two weeks of negotiation.

Auba agreed a  three-and-a-half year deal with Arsenal in a Club record fee and he will be the most paid player on the Club’s history. His fee eclipses Lacazette’s £52.7m, who signed from Monaco last summer.

Confirming the completion of the deal, the Signa Iduna Park outfit released a statement that read:

“Apart from the unpleasant events of recent weeks, we like to remember that the story of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at BVB for more than four years was a single success story.

“He has done great things for Borussia Dortmund at this time, scored many important goals and is part of the team that brought the DFB Cup to Dortmund in 2017. We wish Pierre-Emerick all the best for his future at Arsenal. “

Dubbed as one of the best striker in Europe and the Bundesliga, Aubameyang has joined Arsenal with the pedigree of a striker that scores goals with reckless abandon – he scored 100 goals in 119 appearances for Dortmund since the start of the 2015 season.

Arsenal sold Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United in a swap deal and Wenger feels Auba will bring on similar or more effect as the Chile international did.
