Arsenal are keeping tabs on Juventus defender Daniele Rugani, according to his agent.

The Italian centre-back, 23, has struggled for game time in Turin this season despite Leonardo Bonucci’s exit.

His representative Davide Torchia claims Gunners have expressed an interest in his client, who has been benched at Juve

And Gunners chief Arsene Wenger could be tempted into a summer move as he aims to fix his leaky defence.

Representative Davide Torchia told Radio Sportiva: “Daniele’s doing well, I’m happy for him.

“Arsenal? They didn’t launch any attempts for him.

“They expressed a liking for him but we have respect for Juventus.”

Rugani has won four caps for Italy after coming through the youth ranks at Empoli and Juventus.

But his progress has stalled and he has featured just twice in 2018.

The stylish defender will not come cheap, however, as Juve have him under contract until 2021.
