Laurent Koscielny was forced off injured against AC Milan
Koscielny picked up a nasty-looking knock early in the second-leg last-16 clash.
He was unable to recover and was soon switched with Calum Chambers.
Koscielny might be 32 but he remains one of Arsenal’s most important players.
And boss Wenger will be hoping that docs give the thumbs-up ahead of a crucial run-in.
And, speaking after watching Danny Welbeck and Granit Xhaka net in a 3-1 win, Wenger revealed the defender’s initial prognosis was better than feared.
He said: “He got a kick on his back, we don’t think it’s bad. But he cramped up and couldn’t go on.”
Koscielny joined Arsenal from Lorient in 2010 and has gone on to make an incredible 317 appearances in all competitions.
He led the Gunners to FA Cup glory in 2014, 2015 and 2017.
