Arsenal are set for a summer tilt at RB Leipzig forward Emil Forsberg, according to reports.
German football expert Raphael Honigstein claims the Gunners were blocked from landing the Swedish international in January.
But Forsberg, 26, is understood to be keen on a move to the Premier League and the Gunners are set to try their luck again.
Honigstein told the Totally Football show podcast: “Emil Forsberg has been in and out of the (RB Leipzig) team with injuries, and they’ve really missed him a lot.
“He is still a guy who really wants to go to the Premier League. He was very upset when Arsenal’s offer was turned down straight away by Leipzig.
“I think (Arsenal) will come back in for him because he has got a lot of talent.”
The Swede has bagged five goals and three assists in the Bundesliga this season in 21 matches.
Boss Ralph Hasenhuttl and sporting director Ralf Rangnick will fight to hold on to their playmaker as they bid to limit outgoings in the close season.
