Arsenal are weighing on a  €60million move for French and Paris Saint Germain sensational midfielder Adrien Rabiot, per report.

Arsenal’s search for a midfielder has seen them linked with a plethora of talented players including Aleksandr Golovin and Max Meyer, but Rabiot is an old target of the club but the latest midfield schemer to also be targeted by the Gunners.

We reported earlier that Jack Wilshere has decided to quit Arsenal and the continuous absence of Santi Cazorla means the North London club will be compelled to sign a midfielder(s) when the transfer window comes alive in the summer.

Rabiot was on the radar of Arsenal two seasons ago, even though the Gunner opted to sign Granit Xhaka, they have retained their interest on the impressive star. Rabiot alerted Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal of his available when he revealed that he is uncertain that he will be in the French League next season.

He was asked if he will stay put at Parc des Princes for next season and he said “I don’t know, we will see.

“But, for now, I want to enjoy every moment and every trophy with my club.”

Rabiot is a regular for PSG , who has made over 40 appearances in all competitions this term. Alongside Marco Veratti in the midfield, Rabiot has had an impressive season and Tuttosport, via TeamTalk have claimed that Arsenal will make a formal £52m bid for the midfielder.

Nonetheless, Arsenal will also face stiff competition for the player’s signature  from Juventus, who are in the desperate need of a midfielder.
